This is a 6 weeklong class is designed to teach kids about working in animal welfare and good pet ownership. These are hands-on sessions often times working with shelter dogs. Each class is designed to cover one area of the responsibilities involved in caring for a dog, but also what we do in the shelter each day. These classes are staffed by the Humane Education team.
These are rolling session throughout the year, and we open registration two weeks prior to each session.
This class is for kids 9 years - 11 years and the program fee is $40 (to cover the cost of materials*)

*We reserve the right to abridge the schedule if/when it conflicts with events at the shelter.

- Up to 8 children per session
- Classes are held on Sundays (11am - 12pm)
