Volunteer: "Woof n Wags" Dog WalkingIn addition to playgroups, we make sure our dogs get out no less than two times a day, but we always shoot for 3 or 4! It's important to keep their spirits up, their minds working and getting plenty of exercise. That's where you come into play. We give you the skills to not only work the dogs mentally and physically, but you give them the extra TLC and encouragement they need to feel like this is their home away from their (future) home. Shift times are Monday - Sunday 12pm -2pm OR 2pm -4pm. Commitment is one dedicated shift per week. Before Responding to this Opportunity: First watch the New Volunteer Orientation Then the Shelter 101 class (This takes about 1 hr. and 15 min. so give yourself enough time). Then 'RESPOND' to this opportunity, create an account & sign the liability and Code of Conduct waiver.
